Hydro-physio appointments are our most popular. These take place on our underwater treadmill with a vet physio and incorporate assessments (static, dynamic, postural, palpation) and integrated physiotherapy techniques throughout. Consider it the best of both worlds!

Land based physiotherapy with one of our vet physio’s. Multi-modal sessions which may include physical rehabilitation, electrotherapies (eg. LASER) and manual therapies (eg. massage, stretching). Ongoing support, management, and exercise advice for owners. Home physiotherapy visits available, please enquire.

Focused electrotherapy sessions delivered by one of our vet physio’s. Utilising the delivery of specific light wavelengths, useful in the management of pain and inflammation, often recommended for acute healing and chronic joint conditions. Though included within physiotherapy sessions as standard, this is a purely laser session.

For otherwise healthy dogs, these sessions are focused on optimising your dogs strength, endurance, fitness and reducing injury inline with any personal, or competitive goals you may have. They are also useful for improving water confidence or for dogs tackling obesity.

Terms & Conditions
In booking an appointment with us, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, confirming that you are the legal owner/loaner of the animal referred for treatment and can confirm that all information provided is correct to the best of your knowledge.
All animals being treated by AquaPaws Canine Hydrotherapy require a signed and dated veterinary consent obtained by the owner prior to treatment. If owners are unsure of how to do this, they must contact AquaPaws at their earliest convenience.
A deposit is necessary to reserve your booking. The outstanding amount should be paid before or at the time of treatment. Cash and card payments are accepted.
Insurance claims for hydrotherapy are to be processed by the owner or referring veterinary surgeon.
Cancellations should be made as early as possible. Deposits will be kept from cancellations within 48 hrs of appointment time, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur the full treatment charge.
If you are running late, it is at the discretion of the therapist as to whether there is sufficient time to complete your pets treatment. You will be charged the full amount regardless.
AquaPaws Canine Hydrotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment to any animal and may wish to refer you back to your vet where necessary.
If your bitch comes into season, you should advise us and re-schedule any appointment until this has passed. The notice remains in line with the cancellation policy.
Additional cleaning charges may apply should your pet foul during their treatment.
Please wear suitable, non-slip footwear within the hydrotherapy room as the floors may be wet.
Please keep dogs on a lead at all times in an around the centre when not undergoing treatment.
Though we understand it can be difficult, please ensure your pet is clean before attending your appointment to maintain good water cleanliness for subsequent clients. The therapist may refuse entry into the treadmill if your dog is deemed too dirty.
We will be unable to provide hydrotherapy if your dog: has open wounds and infections, has uncontrolled epilepsy, suffers from incontinence, diarrhoea or vomiting.
We are bound by the Animal Welfare Act 2006 to raise significant welfare concerns with appropriate authorities.
Any animals infected by contagious diseases must rearrange their appointment at least 24 hours before original appointment time, in which case you will not be charged a cancellation fee. Animals must be symptom free for a minimum of 48 hours before an appointment. AquaPaws Canine Hydrotherapy must be informed immediately if an animal displays symptoms of an infectious disease within the 48 hours following treatment.
Owners must cancel appointments immediately if they develop any symptoms of COVID-19. No charge will be incurred for this and appointments will be rearranged.
Owners must inform the therapist if their animal's condition worsens at any point during or after the appointment treatment, or if the vet advises against hydrotherapy.
